🌸 If you’re curious what I’ve been up to… skincare mostly. Glossier discontinuing Bubblewrap has sent me on an epic quest into finding a good replacement I can easily get IRL. It turns out that’s the Elf Holy Hydration Eye Cream, which is literally findable everywhere so….now I am looking for 1) a face sunscreen that won’t sting my eyes and 2) a body sunscreen that won’t piss me off texturewise ☀️
🌸 Heaven is a nice fragrant lip oil, spritzing moisturizing face mists with abandon, and an abundance of pimple patches!
🌸 I watched Dune the other day. It’s really funny, Timothee Chalamet is the kind of guy I would have gone absolutely insane for when I was 20 but now it’s like…well, he looks like a kid. Oscar Isaac tho 🥴
🌸 Kind of pissed me off the only scene where you see Daddy Atreides (LMAO) shirtless is when he’s like…being tortured and dying and it’s just miserable and terrible. It’s like the real life guy equivalent of an anime girls’ tits and panties swinging around while they’re being mentally tortured and screaming and getting the shit kicked out of them and you know… I wasn’t really into it. It made me uncomfortable in the same way.
🌸 But yeah I liked the movie a lot and want more, but was feeling later like they sanded down a lot of the weirder more intense sexual/bodily shit…like it’s good but some of the, ah, spice is missing. So I’m feeling like I want to try reading the first book again…third time’s the charm! 🥉
🌸 Anyway, if you’re reading this because you miss my presence…well, I will come back. I am coming back. It’s the inevitable quality of spring. I will bloom because I can’t help but do so.
🌸 But also like…I need resources lol.
